ISRG has tons more to grow. Their almost monopolistic hold on robotic surgery, save smaller applications should grow from the $20 billion cap to $200 billion over the years making regular surgery outright primitive. What would you rather have a giant gash, lots of blood loss, and long recovery time or 3 or 4 holes, low blood loss, and a short hospital stay? The upside also is less doctors are also needed per surgery offsetting the cost. BTW: I've mentioned that I own ISRG.
Medco, ISRG to some degree, Tech Data, etc. is the victim of perception that all medical related health companies are suffering from the downturn which it is not. All 3 of these have grown in the medical space and in revenues and profitability. Just think what will happen when the medical sector recovers. I agree with the author. These are undervalued.
I agree with Fooled by randomness about Chipotle. It is good but really, the run can only go so far. As for me, I buy burritos from real mexican food places, but Chipotle is great when eating with my geek friends who want eat mexican in some overpriced shopping mall.
